I agree with CGI.

I love Killzone2 and CoD4:MW. Cant decide, but if MW2 doesnt bring in anything new and hardly any different than the original then it shouldnt deserve to win.

But thats why we'll wait and see what new things itll bring in as time passes. =)

What about those of us who think that Red Steel 2 will be the best (assuming it comes out this year)?

I think the battle on 360 against ODST will be a bit closer than the battle between MW2 and KZ2. I just have a feeling being that ODST has Halo 3 in front of the name. I'm speaking of on that particular console by the way. Also hasn't IW said they won't be making a Wii version? Therefore the Conduit will win by default.

Even if we were to completely ignore the 360 and PC versions of Modern Warfare 2, and look at this strictly in a sense of which will house more hours online just for PS3, I'm fairly certain MW2 is going to wipe the floor with Killzone 2. PS3 owners have chosen their FPS poison and it is not KZ2, it's COD/MW.

Modern Warfare 2 should easily take Shooter of the Year awards from most publications/websites. In fact we'll probably be one of the only ones that don't give it the title.

Disolitude made a great point earlier. In the FPS genre the latest always seems to be the greatest. That will put KZ2 at disadvantage. Modern Warfare 2 also has huge built in fanbase and Infinity Ward has deservedly earned reputation. Unless IW, lays an unexpected egg, I have to put my money on MW2.

will gotta say mw2 will beat kz2 in online/sales but i doubt in graphics, i still play cod4 to this day
