each gym leader didn't have just a fight but did an activity of some sort

It hink a Pokemon Orange Island game would be great for the wii....you could do the "sledging" minigame well & the "surf on lapras" minigame well too.

or ofcourse a whole pokemon portable game based around the orange islands would be great too!

I think they've already passed the window on that one, so to speak... If they were ever considering it, it would've been about 10 years ago.

I agree! travelling around to all the different islands could be cool and they could change the gameplay up a fair bit too within the swimming/sailing/riding on the back of sea pokemon sections.

Pokemon isn't my thing anymore so I don't know how much the gameplay has changed overall but I doubt it would be much more than more pokemon, more multiplayer features and different places to go explore.

I doubt it.. Orange Islands was just a spinoff if anything..
