for recent games i would say army of two. you go all the way to miami to confront your old boss only to have a gayass fight with that other guy. then you kill the boss in a cinematic!! sure they issued a dlc to remedy that, but that was retarded as well.

Retro studios make great games, but they suck at making a good ending for the metroid prime trilogy.

After those 3 INTENSE battles Samus has gone trough they came up with the lamest ending ever.
