Forums - General - Too...Much... Beer

Damn is there such a thing? I had four pints tonight which seems like a hell of a lot for a chilled Wednesday night up the pub doing the pub quiz.

What would you call too much beer for a night out?

Well I only had 3 pints and a hell of a lot of curry tonight. I feel like what a pregnant women must feel like.

I would say 7 pints is too much, but it depends what kind of a night it is.

Any at all, for me.

Nintendo still doomed?

It's a shame that beer is the "accepted" form of inebriation. There are far more interesting altered states to choose from that result in more than just drunk driving, drunk dialing, and drunk posting.

Drinking beer makes you a Man!

I'll simplify..

Beer = Man

You see everyone...this is a perfect example of a drunk post.  You can almost hear him slurring over each of the words right before he falls under the table.

Let me elaborate...

Ale = Man
Bitter = Old man
Stout = Real man
IPA = Me
Lager = Closet homosexual

When i was in Ireland on holidays and my cousin said, "let's go for a pint", i discovered this meant about four. When he said, "let's go get drunk", i knew i was i was in for a big one, which incidentally isn't a good idea just before a London to Tokyo flight. So to answer your question, too many beers is when you lost count of how many beers you had but remember that at one point in the night, whiskey shots seemed like a good idea.

Being Irish, I agree with this. When you start to blank out, then you've had too much, so it varies from person to person.
