Man, if it sold like this on the other systems there would be universal howls of derision. And with good cause.

The numbers are HORRIBLE. No established IP for future development, no market or mind share for the game, and no reaction from any sector of the Wii's "mature" fanbase.

Regardless of what Sega PR says, they must be very concerned about the genre of games they will be pushing on the system.

I think this thread might've been a mistake, Soriku. Even if MadWorld somehow managed to reach a million, people would be yelling flop 'til their lungs collapsed.

Pretty much shows how underwhelming the sales are if selling 170k after 4 weeks deserves a thread. :/

Platinum Games seems to have the Clover Studio curse where the games are great however do not sell well......one of them has got to be a witch.

The good cause being that it'd have cost 3-4 times as much to make and would have lost major amounts of money while sustained sales at this level will probably see it profitable at 250k.

The point of this thread was to show people that called it a flop after 1 week how wrong they were. The truth is this thread is to Wii trolls like a rotten corp is to flies.

Never ever say something good about a Wii game Soriku.

Actually if it had sold a million in its first 3 or so weeks I would have called it a success, but right now, its a failure and will remain as such unless some sort of miracle happens.

I hope the Conduit is just as successful.

I hope and expect the Conduit is 10x as successful.
