Very good game. This game is very fun and you finish the bosses with very little life left ^^ There are lots of comic moment, especially with luigi telling his (parralel) adventure

However, Paper Mario Wii was not as good :/

You guys, fighting the last boss is so much fun! And I love the ending!

My favorite music in this game does come from ch 3 I believe... the background music while walking around the fight arena, the final fight with Grubba, and the final fight with Rawk had amazing music.

I love EVERY single aspect of this game...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of 3 games that has truly fit perfectly with me.

Hah, I remember that. I knew something was up, and I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I really should get Super Paper Mario. I don't care if some people didn't like it, Intelligent Systems hasn't let me down yet.

Super Paper Mario is great.  It's a lot easier but that doesn't really make it any less fun.

Yeah, Doopliss (I'm hoping you're past the part where you don't know his name. Sorry if I spoiled it. ) is one of my favorite villains, due to his use of the word "slick" and the fantastic nature of that entire level.

Plus, it's so much fun to beat up on your partners for abandoning you in your time of need. In fact, by the time I finished the final battle, every partner was knocked out (Served them right!).

Yeah, Creepy Steeple was great on all accounts, and the fact that you team up with Vivian (my favorite PM partner thus far) puts it as a personal favorite area of mine. Oh, and people transforming into pigs? Awesome.

Oh, and be prepared to see more of the great Doopliss.

lol, I didn't even attack my partners.  I didn't want them to hate me.  >_>

It didn't matter since I haven't upgraded Goombella and she couldn't even hurt me because I did the special that ups my attack and defense.

I still hold chapter 3 as my favorite. Chapter 4 is great, but the moments that pissed me off will never be forgotten.

Bloody fantastic game.

My fav music tracks in the game off the top of my head were:

Rogueport                                                                                                                                                                                The Glitz Pit theme
Professor Frankly's theme
The Opening theme

and a couple others...

I liked the final boss myself. Fun times.

Would have been a little more exciting had I not abused the danger system and gotten like +40 attack though but it was still fun.

Yeah, chapter 3 was a lot of fun too and really well done.  It had me guessing up until the very last minute when they finally revealed what was going on.

I'm just amazed the more I play this game the more and more impressed I am with it even my with gripes.

And just in case anyone cares, my bitch list for this game:

  • Backtracking-- I like games that have clever use of backtracking but some times this game just does it far too much, it's actually been the worst in chapter 4 so far.  You start in Twilight, go through the pretty hard woods, go through the steeple, go back through the really hard woods, do your stuff in Twilight again, go through the freaking woods AGAIN, do the steeple stuff, and go through the damn woods one more time.
  • Inventory Space -- This was a problem in Partners in Time, Super Paper Mario, and apparently this game too.  For a game that is unforgiving as this one is with restoring HP, they give you almost no inventory space and it's bullshit.
  • Walls and walls of text -- I love the writing in this game but there's just too much text.  I speed through a lot of the dialogue because I just want to get on with it sometimes.
  • Stage destruction -- It's cool how that's incorperated into the game but it's really annoying.  Sometimes I just want to get through those simple little battles while traveling someplace but some piddly little enemy attacks me that can't hurt me and then the stage goes foggy so I can't hit it.  Or a tree falls and I get dizzy.  Or something will freeze me.  ect.  It's kind of cool but since it usually screws me 90% of the time instead of them, it's just annoying.

But even with all that, great game.  I can't believe I went this long without playing it!

The Pit of 100 Trials made me a man.

Toughest boss in the game easily. I had to come out a couple of times because the earlier floors really trick you into underestimating the later ones. This side-quest was the last thing I did before going on to finally beat the game, so I was pretty nicely leveled too.
