@Soriku- True, but give me an example how to raise stats besides leveling? this goes for regular XIII to, because i personally see no way.
And you still didn't answer me, how is it not the same?

Really? well that does sound interesting, but annoying at the same time, then again i guess it would be like me saying i prefer AJRPGs over turn-based because AJRPG is new and moving on with the times while Turn-based is old sc hool, so looking at it this way...
Its like saying i dont like this "new" way of leveling up because its not the same as we're all use to, therefore im also Hypocrisy. Mmm, we have come to terms my friend.
Oh, and as for the thing we were talking about, nvm im far to lazy to talk about it now lol. (But i will get back to you on it! O_O. ... .. . . .)

There are also RPG games that your character does not level, but your skills improve as you use them.

What horrible, horrible timing...
I'm not sure where this mindblock is coming from. The first FFCC was an RPG and didn't have leveling either and no one screamed about it. Crystal Bearers is the same. The sooner people come to terms with this, the sooner we can get back to actually talking about THE GAME.

Say that because of FF XIII being the same?
FF does not dictate what makes an RPG, if FF XIII has go-karts and was all about racing it wouldn't be an RPG, the same thing applies even if the changes aren't as drastic. |
Very well, you win. RPGs=levelling, no-levelling=/=RPG.
I'm moving on with my life. And you still have rotten timing.

Hummm...... it seems someone here never played GC's FFCC.
I dunno about this... I was hoping for something like FFCC, which I never got to play. Something with your usual RPG elements. FFCC was like an RPG right, from what I remember seeing.
I'll still keep an eye on it though.
