Well, technically, Microsoft didn't make Gears of War or its sequel. They don't even own the IP. So those two games don't count :P

No...... it sells thats much cause its great, depsite all the other great games, if i only had a few to choose from like the 360, of cause the sales on them would be high

If Gears of War and Halo found its way on the PS3 they would instanly be on the top of the list. PS3 owners want shooters but Sony doesn't deliver what they want. Also the 360 offers games of those same genres and they've sold great as well.

While I would gladly buy both Gears and Halo if they were on the PS3, no, they wouldn't top the list. They have a fanbase on 360 which is not going to switch over while the 360 still has the games.
And Sony doesn't deliver shooters? Excuse me? Heard of a game called Killzone 2?
I wasn't entirely serious about that comment, anyway. I was mainly pointing out how arbitrary it is to compare by use of sales.
