For me it's 8 hours.  Between school and other things, 8 hours makes it seem like I'm actually progressing through the game with my limited playtime.

All depends on the game imho... But generally, I like a game to be about 10-12 hours.

I like Oblivion length games. +100 hours on a normal run.

20-30 hours are good for me.

i like when i get 1 hour for $1.

I like my JRPG games to be long. I am currently at 60 hours in the one I am playing now.

Action titles I like to have around 8-10 hours and 10-12 for shooters.

It all depends on what kind of game it is.

8 hours is far too little. 50 hrs for me.

10-15 hours usually, but thats gametime and not cut-scene time so MGS4 should fit into that timeframe pretty much
