Forums - Microsoft - My (old) review of Tales of Vesperia

Of course it got predictable at times. Valkyria kept me entertained the entire time though. It touched on so many taboos that most games (and other forms of visual media) avoid.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

I guess thats you then. For me at times VC's story really kept me entertained then there are moments when VC ruins itself.

I think I'll take this over Infinite Undiscovery....for now.

Very very smart choice.

I decided to grab this game a month ago and it is easily my favorite JRPG this gen.

You haven't even finished it!

LOL!

No need to. I am about 70% of the way through and sitting at a nice 56 hours.

Plus it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that this game is better than IU.

Racism and Homosexuality are the two most obvious ones.

Homosexuality in that game is dealt with in a refreshingly matter of fact manner.  They're just gay, it doesn't affect anything, that's just the way they are.

And Racism shows up heavily in the story of the Darcsen plight.
