What kinds of taboos?

Racism and Homosexuality are the two most obvious ones.

Homosexuality in that game is dealt with in a refreshingly matter of fact manner. They're just gay, it doesn't affect anything, that's just the way they are.

And Racism shows up heavily in the story of the Darcsen plight.

VC did do a great job on touching on those taboos.
