Forums - Sony - How do i update my psp??

I hear in most places that some firmware is available...as i just bought my psp to play games i didnt know that i could update it....so how can i update it?

Being a cricket fan is much simpler and more fun

It can be done with wireless lan. Make sure you are able to connect to internet with PSP then go to system update and download firmware. After the download go to games on XMB and load firmware. I'm not sure how to do it with a computer.



 Go Team Venture! I still don't get the Wii, PS Move,  and Kinect.

Just go to the far left of the XMB and then up to the top, and then hit system update if you have wifi

Alternatively, games come with newer firmware, so if you have a recent game, just put it in (assuming it does not auto start) and then go to the icon below UMD, which should be a firmware update
