If Factor 5 and Free Radical went under, its because they couldn't get a decent enough project rolling by the time Lair/Haze were finished -- i.e. before anyone even knew what their sales would be like.  Its just that rushed game projects tend to go hand-in-hand with bad business practices.  Maybe no one wanted to fund the Wii projects they were pitching.


so basically Sony and Ubisoft took the hits from Lair and Haze (if there were ones) and not free radical and factor5

There are probably more like 300 million sellers if we had anywhere near complete PS2 software data... SoTC and Killzone would be up there, for sure.

I know you're being sarcastic, but the sad thing is that there are people who believe this (or something like it): that the 1500 pieces of crap on the PS2 make the 100 awesome games any worse.

It's for anti-Sony trolling and calling "failure" on a console which has sold 135 million hardware units - and counting - and in excess of 1.75 billion software units - and counting.  Keep up.

If you're implying that I'm a Sony fanboy, than you'd be wrong. Unlike you I own all three consoles, and unlike you I don't mak threads complaining because some person's comments made me squirm.

Woah woah Montana slow down man! I wasn't implying anything about you. I left our little squabble alone because frankly,  I was startingto lose. I havea 360, Wii, and a PS2 (I don't see a PS3 in my future plans).
