In the established art of moving goalposts, gamers have now come up with the line above in order to once again attempt to downplay the success of a game and its system along with it.

This has been addressed towards the Wii the most, with games like Madworld deemed as being on the "wrong console". PS3 and 360 games receive this judgement as well, but it is almost exclusively concerned with Japan.

A game comes out on the system it does, that is it. Don't be a troll about it.

"The Wii can't sell third party games."- Now that this theory has been smashed, we have the next big thing.

It's "the Wii can't sell CORE NEW IP third party games".

Anyway, I think that most of the JRPGs coming out on the 360 are misplaced. Star Ocean, for example, would've sold much more on the PS3.

Yer right, people should stop saying it because they have no proof to put forward in its assertion.  Same as "Valkyria woulda sold better on Wii" which I've heard a surprising amount, same with LBP.  Street goes both ways, and both should stop.

Okay, even as a joke I can't back that up. If a game has sold more than 5 million or so, it doesn't matter which system it's on.
