Forums - Nintendo - SD Storage for Wii Should equal DLC, what wii DLC do you want?

Now that the sd card solution is for real, nintendo should drop some dlc, and I've got a few ideas:

1. Add on to allow sending back and forth of Wiimusic stuff

2. New tracks or custom racers for MKWii, maybe a pack of classic tracks not in it already?

3. Multiplayer add on for wii fit.  imagine working out simultaneously on the same workout and comparing scores/breaking balls?  could be amazing.  also new exercises.

4. new fish in endless ocean

these are just my half cocked ideas, what are yours?

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

I don't think there'll be new DLC for any past titles.

There already are custom racers in mario kart in the form of Miis.

But yeah, I wouldn't expect any new content for any (first-party) already-released games. Possibly some form of Call of Duty update, as they're already added a couple of new game modes to the Wii version.

Personally, I'd prefer that Nintendo stuck with the 'old-fashioned' idea of giving you the entire game when you buy it.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

maybe a Brawl expansion? new stages, characters songs, trophys the like

That would be cool. Though chances for dlc for older titles are small.

i like that idea too that you get the full game, but that doesnt mean there cant be add ons.  i dont like locked out planned dlc nonsense, but if you can legit add to a game, then why not?

well there would be possible that nintendo games would get DLC, but knowing nintendo i doubt any of past and future wii games will ever get DLC.

multiplayer map packs for Conduit, CoD: World at War and other online fps/tps games,
additional quests/monsters/weapons for jrpgs,
additional levels for platformers and puzzle games(boom blox2, korrorinpa, me and my blob),
more songs for music games,
additional tracks and cars for racing games,
updates to sports games(updating team members for PES, NFL games) and fitness games(new exercises for EA Active)

those things are easily possible on wii since they wouldn't take much space. as long as it won't end up in "oh we finished the game so now lets cut 20% of it and sell it as DLC for 1/2 price of the game"(like with new Prince of Persia and Tomb Raider).

There can't be DLC in past games. That would require a patch to support the DLC and Nintendo doesn't allow patches. I'd like some more maps for The Conduit in the future though.

The only thing that i would really love, but i know it's not happening.... Smash bros DLC
