Since the dsi has already come out, do you guys see any games that use the new features and are exclusive to the dsi? If so, how soon?

I personally don't think any exclusive games will appear 'till 2010. The normal DS userbase is huge, and I don't think the dsi userbase will get big enough in the year for developers to start thinking about exclusive content. If there is, it'll be for the DSiware, and that's about it.

Your thoughts?

I would imagine that the only DSi games to be exclusive and use the camera will be the DS Ware ones. I can't see Nintendo trying to screw us over like that.

I think there will be a lot DSi only games coming from nintendo pretty soon.

It would be bad business if they were to come out with a lot of games that were only for the DSi. I honestly do not see them coming out with retail DSi only games for another year at least. It would be too confusing for the consumer.

I think the first one would show up after the summer and before the holiday season.

Not for a long time. The DS is at a 100 million userbase. The DSi might be a million or so right now and maybe it will be 10 million by the end of the year. What version do you think most would focus on? Since any DS game will play on the DS but not neccessarily the other way around if they use too many features of the DSi, I don't see any exclusive DSi games for a while. I still also expect many people to continue buying the DS instead of the DSi.

I could see some games coming out that are playable and you get 80-90% of the content but the rest uses features of the DSi. That's what I would expect.
