shit, when did the Daily Mail start doing ads for the police?

There was some lady who killed her husband in my state and they found the ingredients for a dirty bomb in his house. He had uranium and thorium in jars, lol. I was watching something on tv about this and the reporter asks a Maine reporter if the local residents were shocked. He said oh no this is Maine lots of people have stuff like that around here. I lol'ed. Mainers like to keep radioactive materials in jars in their houses apparently.

They are really disturbing. Big Brother is a popular show over there but this is a bit much.

Yeah, our country is obsessed with terrorism.

If we just stopped investigating terrorism and used the millions spent on it to fund 'stop smoking' clinics (for example) we could save many more lives. Terrorism kills very few people and doesn't deserve the huge resources put into stopping it. I don't care if not investigating it makes a few more bombs happen and kills maybe ten more people a year. It's just not significant enough to worry about.

And we would get our civil liberties restored.

It's all about hype.

Pork kills more lives than any terror, yet people ignore it.
