ps3 is ranked at 39 on amazon.com but thats just amazon. ps3 is sold out at BB.ca and futureshop.ca on the other hand over 5000 x360s have been available for some months.............no one is buying them. at amazon.co.jp x360 is ranked 200. at amazon.co.uk ps3 is ranked 1 by the way. www.amazon.co.uk

Last month was pretty good ? come on !! PS3 sold less than X360 and almost half than wii !!! You don't have ambition for PS3.. And how do you explain that Wii is also out of stock on amazon.com but still ranked at 7 ?

Do you have a source for these numbers? Futureshop.ca and BestBuy.ca do not list the quantities of products that are not close to selling out... Anyways, this shouldn't be surprising being that the system is over a year old and doesn't have supply problems; at the same time many people (like me) are anticipating a price drop/enhanced system before July and can wait to see what happens.

NPD manipulated the JAN sales figures for x360 in CANADA....The original figure was less than 2k. by the way x360 was the least selling console in both Europe and JAPAN in JAN. in JAPAN .hardware sales plummetted to 3500 vs 44k for ps3. NOTE: - ALL holiday bundles of x360 are available as of today since december,2006 with 0 buyers.

Hmm, fact wii is ranked at 7 is pretty easy to explain - they just sold out all the shipment. If you would try to track position of Wii you will notice a drop. Day by day till the next shipment. Same situation with PS3 but shipment didn't arrive on 7th march as it should. The difference between me and you is I'm not afraid about PS3 future. Xbox360 is a good console but it can't win. You can bark but try to chill out a bit, enjoy all good stuff Xbox360 offers to you and think about numbers. X doesn't exist in Japan and Europe is the most successful market of the PS brand. January was a good month for xbox. True. Around 50k units more than PS3. Is it so impressive. I don't think so. Time will show.

Can we get a mod or someone to edit Washimul's posts with the insanely long text lengths? They make this thread unreadable. Washimul - gamerankings.com's composite score for Motorstorm is 84.4. Don't try to extrapolate a rousing critically acclaimed game when it's not. Motorstorm might selll well (275k in March maybe?), but it's not some uber-game for the PS3. If people buy it, its because the PS3 doesn't have out many great games (now the PS3 has R:FoM, VF5 and now Motorstorm for it's halfway decent games).

washimul, where are you getting your European numbers from? You say the 360 is last in Europe but you have no proof. Also, like to here what washimul thinks the NPD numbers will be for Feb and Mar. Just want a record of how wrong he is.
