As with all games/films: If you don't like it, don't buy it. Why should your reaction to it cause it to be restricted to everyone else?

I don't know if I'm too unemotional, but you get accustomed with it as you play the game. Yeah, the first time it's "ooooohhhh", but starting with the second time it doesn't suprise you anymore, it's as normal as any character in any RPG would look executing a chant to cast magic.

I think it's a great feature, the animation looks cool, and it's original, but it's hardly disturbing. I mean, it's pretty obvious that the pistols don't shoot and that they wouldn't kill themselves

well1st off, the guns rnt real in P3. they are called evokers and are a device used to release ur persona. the shape is meant to intimidate, to release ur persona u mustn't fear death(which is y some chars have issue sticking a gun shaped tool in their mouth).

They're just devices to evokes "personas". They just happen to look like guns because you have to overcome the fear of death to be able to summon a persona. So they're not killing themself... but children shouldn't play it. They might mistake it for real guns....

so your not buying it cause of that? , anyways i heard the fourth one is better anyways so go for that one :]

I loved that in P3 ... i felt kinda betrayed that they took it out of P4 because it would seem that people started complaining and Atlus folded :/

Aha, ok so there is an explanation. It's interesting and sounds like the characters are having trouble with the concept as I have. I guess they achieved the desired effect :).
Yeah, maybe more people did complain about it, like I did. But if they were, none of them are here.
