Forums - Nintendo - Fire Emblem is a difficult series, I don't know if you guys have heard

I guess I just 100% ified Sacred Stones. Didn't really take a long time. (Not really 100%, I didn't cap everyone, but I did the main story + Lagdou ruins).

 

I start HHM in FE7 now, which should be interesting. Probably won't finish that in a fair bit of time though (I finished SS so quickly as I had lots of time on busses and such).

Feel terrible, never.  We want FE to beat you like it has all of us.  I have probably quit every FE game at least once due to frustration.

Other than FE5 and FE10 hardmode (and possibly FEDS hard 5), you're not gonna have a large shot at losing all your characters.

 I'm playing HHM right now. Levels didn't carry over for me. It's pretty easy for me right now.

 

Anyway - arena abuse.

It's quite simple, and FE7 is incredibly rewarding for it.

 

If you have a lance wielder, you're gonna beat sword users all the time, unless they're 2 levels higher than you or more. Then you have to watch out. (Don't be afraid to yield!).

Against lances, be a bit on the safe side, but you should win 80% ish. 

Just yield against axe wielders, most of the time at least.

 

Oh, and group up against enemies. Never enter a "fair fight".

 

And the same with the axe wielders (but it's easier with them) and sword wielders (just change for the weapon triangle).

 

You're gonna get a nice amount of money, and it should be fairly easy.

Of course, don't overdo it, just a bit of Arena (don't spend an hour there or anything).

I dunno, arena abuse feels kinda like cheating. You mean the trick with Ninian's Grace, right?

I think he just means repeatadely using an arena to level up your characters (i.e. don't finish a level, instead spend 20 minutes using the arena to level up your characters)

 

EDIT: This is different than Ninian's Grace bug.

Canas is probably the best boss-killer I have, thanks to Luna ignoring defense.

Anyway, this game is hard. I bet the rest of the series is about this hard.

What? No, no - it's not. FE9 and FE8 are both easier than it.

 

And Arena Abusing is simply using the Arena a lot.
