Other than FE5 and FE10 hardmode (and possibly FEDS hard 5), you're not gonna have a large shot at losing all your characters.

HHM. I'm playing through Lyn's hard mode right now, and leveling up Lyn, Kent, Dorcas, and Matthew exclusively.

 

 I'm playing HHM right now. Levels didn't carry over for me. It's pretty easy for me right now.

 

Anyway - arena abuse.

It's quite simple, and FE7 is incredibly rewarding for it.

 

If you have a lance wielder, you're gonna beat sword users all the time, unless they're 2 levels higher than you or more. Then you have to watch out. (Don't be afraid to yield!).

Against lances, be a bit on the safe side, but you should win 80% ish. 

Just yield against axe wielders, most of the time at least.

 

Oh, and group up against enemies. Never enter a "fair fight".

 

And the same with the axe wielders (but it's easier with them) and sword wielders (just change for the weapon triangle).

 

You're gonna get a nice amount of money, and it should be fairly easy.

Of course, don't overdo it, just a bit of Arena (don't spend an hour there or anything).
