I've never heard anything about this before I heard it on the radio while driving to school this morning. Is anyone here familiar with it?

Apparently people can get very attached to objects, and "date" them or even "marry" them. I find it all extremely bizarre.... but what do you guys think about it? Here's the wiki page:

In the first paragraph it shows an example of a woman who, 30 years ago, was married to the Berlin Wall.

Now here is what I want to talk about, how far should our society reach out to the phrase: "it's okay to be who you are, you are perfectly normal" before it gets too far? When should things start being labeled as a mental disability or "problem", and not something that is just merely perfectly fine? Is there a point, or should we just be completely accepting of everything?

I'm not taking a side on this right now, but I find this whole ordeal extremely bizarre.
