Excellent news but I still have to track down the original.
Yes, the chances of it being multiplat aren't too high... that would mean having to develop it on a new engine - or do a hard job porting to the 360 because the engine VC was initially built on is for the PS3 from top to bottom.
I hope the DLC fares well! more money for SEGA, more chances for a sequel!
I was going to say make the game multi-plat but SRPG just do not sell well. I hope the anime gains the franchise more popularity as the game deserves to sell much more.

if u have a hd telly and a good audio set up. just watch the opening sequence its awsome.
theres so much in the game its amazing you wont be dissapointed and you wouldnt have played a battle system like it before.

I'd guess the real money was in the liscensing of the Anime.
It makes me wonder if that deal was in place before the game was released. I mean look who is making it afterall.
If successful the anime+ the cheapening of the game may lead to a "second rising" of the series too.
Also. Well the actual developer always wants to make a sequel. Even if there game bombs commercially and they love it. What the buisness guys allow. That's the real question.
