NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Hans was fucking horrible! Hans was the single worst thing about VC, and I am not kidding! I hate him! One of my favorite moments in the game is when Largo says "Who named the bacon?". Hans is nothing short of atrocious, and the game would have been better if we had never met him. |
I played with the Japanese audio, and I cringed when I heard Hans squeel... but I guess he fits with the whole game. It wasn't really a Saving Private Ryan type of story anyway.

I don't see how.
Moving any character multiple times would be way too gamebreaking... unless you POSSIBLE had a HUGE map or a map with very little foward vision. Like a maze, series of cliffs where it's hard to get to the top.... etc.
They could reduce it to a "traditional" turn based game" for multiplayer i guess.

Trophies are not important in anyway shape or form... it's an RPG... It's all about story, characters, and gameplay/game mechanics. This game looks like a win in all 3 of those categories. Rewards and Graphics aren't important [the game's still a pretty impressive visual display though :P].
I wish I had the cash to buy this game... It's definatly one of my next few purchases... even when I get the cash I still need to find the game... I might have to order it online....

Hmm I don't see how they can make multiplayer without "I move first I win" syndrom. Especialy when you consider how overwhelming adventage active player has.

Yeah. Taking out the "Infinite moves per person per turn" would help but not completly fix it.
You could alternate medals too... like... say I get 5 medals and you get 5 medals.
You go first, (4 left)
then I go, (4 left)
You go, (3 left)
I use a tank, (2 Left)
You go, I go, (2 Left)
I use a tank (0 left)
You go (1 left)
You go (0 left)
Turn starts over.
Of course now the game has totallly been changed.

Well, the person who is going first would have to have a handicap. Like they can't have a tank or they have to take the stronghold in a certain amount of turns.

Game could have a fix objective with the agressor going first.
Eg: Team A's objective is to defend the mountain fortress, they must hold out for 20 turns or eliminate all enemy, team B's objective is to capture the mountain fortress or elimnate all enemy, they get to go first etc etc.
You will most likely have to nerf the scouts too, especially those with 'reset AP' skill, and the command skill must be limited and also lock for a certain number of term. eg: Only 1 command can be used per turn, Awaken can only be used after 8 turns etc etc.
I think its very doable with some tweaks into the current system.

This game has very passionate followers, and I'm glad! One of my favorite games this gen........there better be a sequel! I would love to see a multiplayer, but making it feasible will be tricky. I'd settle for online co-op! And a space in home lol! By the way, I really want that 300 page art book of the first game that releases late April. *starts game again*
