My friends are always like "Super Mario World is The Best Mario Game ever!"

Here's my point.

#1- SMB3 has superior level design.
#2- Great music.
#3- Raccoon Suit, Hammer Suit, The Frog Suit, Tanooki Suit = Way better than anything SMW.
#4- And Better Gameplay.

In your opinion, which game is the Best Mario Game Ever (and why)?

I would go for SMB3 for sure. In my oppinion this is the best Mario game made during the NES/SNES era.

Super Mario World because it was the first game I ever played.

SMB3 is the peak of Mario games.

The second best platformer ever made.

SMB3... Even though I loved SMW as well and almost as much.

Super Mario 3, the Super Mario World, then (running for cover)... New Super Mario Brothers

Super Mario Galaxy.

This is very good question. I'd say that the castles design are far better in SMB3 and that the flying ships as well as the last world are pretty epic. The themed world are also a great idea that inspired many, many games. The different suits are great as is the overworld map.

Super Mario World has more secrets, alternate path and hidden passages. I also really like the 4 different yoshi colors.

So, I don't know... I guess SMB 3 because I played it yesterday!

I think I like both equally. I couldn't pick one over the other.
