Never seen Bacanno, but I'm very meh on the rest. Especially Gurren Lagann---I thought it was overrated. Too much mecha and fanservice for my tastes. The only show with those elements that I can stand is Code Geass (and even with that, I'm only into it for Lelouch).

I do think the Reborn manga is pretty good, though.

I have a very deep dislike for Haruhi Suzumiya (both the character and the show). I hated all of the characters and the art style, so I couldn't enjoy it.

Thanks for mentioning the name Haruhi, though, because it reminded me of Ouran Host Club. That show is fairly recent, and it's pretty entertaining.

I've heard good things about Clannad. Maybe one day I'll get around to it. Idk, I don't watch that much anime anymore.

I don't understand why you're insulting people who prefer watching fillms/TV/anime in their original languages so they can listen to the dialogue as it was directed by the original director.

Also, when it's dubbed, it throws the pacing of the dialogue off, since certain expressions translate to much longer or much shorter expressions, so you might get something like "This is the greatest meal I've ever had in my whole life!" translate to "Mmm, tasty!" It throws everything off, and changes entire personalities of characters.
