Im sorry for being off topic but what is up with people posting before they read the post? really are you that desperate for post counts?
on topic Civ II was casual? gran tourismo too... I dont buy that.
On top of that no matter the developer/publisher without an actual report form them we can not tell if these games are budget disasters (MGS4, Valkyria chronicles, Killzone2, Little Big Planet ) . they could have been using the money in these games to develop engines that would run later gen games and reduce turn around time, building assets and training on code. all of these are overhead for first games out that get reduced as the assets and skills gained are used throughout the generation.
"We like to say that we don't want that kind of control, but in reality, games are just as good with it" this is an opinion and represents only you for me i despise current motion control for not being the promise of one to one. but then as i said its an opinion so if both can coexsist i will be fine if motion is they way of the future they better clean it up and refine it or they lost me as a customer ill just retro game and game on a computer.... touch srceen gaming might rock fully customizable controls... though giving up trigers and sticks will suck.... i guess i could just stick to the pc ad play my rts's ....
