It looks like will have decent legs but they only have 3 weeks of sales. lets wait til the 10th week then we can say something. Im still getting.

Just rented this and have to say it is a great game, I have done my bit for SEGA since Lovefilm have to purchase the copy from them first.

Wii games to tend to have legs as we know, but this is too early to say.

Its difficult to track a game which is selling at 5-10k per week. So even if the numbers state good sales, we can never truely trust the sales figures without outside confirmation, right Khuutie?

Dealing with numbers this small is going to be tricky, and we may not get an accurate estimate of how much Madworld has sold until we get shipment reports at the end of the quarter.

SEGA said they were satisfied by the first numbers that were coming in, but I doubt they'll be happy if it sells 250k lifetime.

Not that I think it will sell that low, but considering the advertising I think it will struggle to turn a profit in a reasonable time.

Its good seeing fun games reach good sales figures on the Wii, if nothing more than seeing the developers rewarded for their good work.

Though I wonder if Wii games like these recieve price-cuts too quickly too often that the consumers will become used to waiting a few weeks for a substantially lower price and therefore hold off purchasing.

We all know what happened to the boy who yelled "legs"...

But yeah, also consider that many "hardcore" EU gamers are informed enough to buy their games on UK sites lately, because of the wonderful euro/pound exchange rate. Thus, the Amazon UK sales are even more important on such a small total number of sales.

This thread reminds me that I STILL need to get off my ass and go grab a copy....
