I asked about how they were selling at EB Games today.

The manager there said, they were selling good, sold out first 2 batches.

Said the prices on them is the big stopper being $10 above usual retail price.

Suikoden DS also is of similar fate, expensive DS game slowing down its sales. Otherwise, it's selling okay.

but everyone said they bombed.....

Sega also said they were pleased with the sales so far, but since the internet had already decided the game bombed, and the internet is the final verdict, there is no choice but to conclude that the game indeed bombed.

I wonder if the game will get much of a spike when the sales lower...

They retail for $60, the same price for Xbox 360 and PS3 games.
The regular retail price for Wii games are usually $40-$50, usually in the $40 end.

I picked up Madworld for 39.99$ at Walmart in Canada. Is the game not selling at that price everywhere here?

I got it for $35 on Amazon..... interesting. (It was a special pre-order deal)

Yeah, unfortunately a lot of videogame retailers (GAMESTOP comes to mind) like to set rape prices on games.  Thankfully amazon usually caters to cheap bastards like me

I bought both in the buy 2 get 1 free last week at Target. Im sure the games will do ok but not sequel great.
