Although some might be wondering why we bother to do a "worst of" for this poll, I'd argue that there's no other way to do it.  Filmmakers have been destroying our high hopes and great expectations when it comes to film adaptations of our most sacred franchises for so long that they hardly deserve a "best of" list. 

So which do you think was the worst video game movie?  And why do you think they keep getting it wrong?  Do you think there will ever be a renaissance of videogame movies as there is for comic book movies right now, where amazing directors are given incredible bugets and first-rate actors to make movies such as Batman Begins, Dark Knight, Iron Man, and the X-Men?

Oh, stupid. I was just ten when I went to the movies with my brother and my father to see it. I was so happy when I heard the famous Mario theme in the very beginning... Yes, it's easy to make a kid happy. But they failed. What was that all about? That was really horrible.

Super Mario Bros. is at least amusing.

At any rate, it's superior to anything Uwe Boll has ever produced.
