As the headline says. I'm looking to shore up my PS2 collection a tad (it's much more bare than it should be), so tell me the cream of the crop. Genre is mostly unimportant, but be warned that I'm not a big fan of GTA or MGS, or console FPS games. With that in mind, let's hear it.

Klonoa 2 is a most lovely 2.5d platform game if you are into those.
If you are into jrpgs then please also give the Atelier Iris series a go if you can find it.

Is it the same quality as the original? I never played the sequel, but thoroughly enjoyed the first game (and definitely plan on buying the remake).

Well I'd suggest Soul Nomad and the World Devouerers based on what i know about your taste.

This gameplay overview should explain why....

As you can see it has a couple Ogre Battle elements in it... not too many but still considering we only have 2 games like it... a little bit tacked on to a regular SRPG is better then nothing.

Plus you seem to already like NIS strategy games.

Soul Nomad does look interesting! I'd only heard of it in passing before, but now I'll take a closer look. Thanks!

Shamefully I never played the original

I can honestly say though that Klonoa 2 is my favorite game in the whole world.

I can recommend almost everything in my collection, man. Check it.

I'd recommend Ratchet and Clank, Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal, and maybe Ratchet: Deadlocked (it's more of a shooter than the previous games). I've heard the Jak games are fantastic, but I haven't tried them...

I'd also recommend Spashdown: Rides Gone Wild if you can find it because it was a pretty goofy/fun racing game.

If you like Lord of the Rings and RPGs, The Third Age (by EA) is actually a really good game, except the final boss which will leave you scratching your head.

Star Wars: Battlefront I and II are great. I know they're multiplat, but I've had tons of fun with them... Though I found that I prefer the first game because it has way better maps. Still, the second one has all those nifty awards and whatnot, plus you can play as Jedi.

Persona 3 and 4 are awesome JRPG
Okami is really great and worth playing
Gow 1&2 are also worth checking
