I hated brawl too but that made me sell Brawl not the Wii.

I did not. Super Smash Brothers Brawl Super Mario Galaxy Zelda These games sold better than Wii Music and Big Brain Academy, why would they stop making them? There were rumors that Nintendo was working on a JRPG in order increase sales in Japan.

"we know Nintendo's expected games sell gangbusters"

Several points: Nintendo's core games (Mario/Zelda/Metroid/etc.) are selling better on the Wii than they did on the Gamecube, despite having several years less time, and despite the games still selling at full price. The core audience has expanded dramatically on the Wii. Second, look to see what Carnival Games' first week sales were. It's only 50,000. Don't mistake me, I'm not saying Madworld will ever match that, but you're going to need much stronger evidence than that to support your point. Third, Wii Music was in creation before the Wii was released. It did not come out of nowhere, but it is not a response to the sales of Carnival Games or any similar software. Moreover, that remark demonstrates your ignorance of gaming history: Nintendo has always dabbled in similar software, even during the SNES era. Do you remember Mario Paint? Are you going to claim it was made in response to the stellar sales of Carmen Sandiego, or are you saying Nintendo "abandoned the hardcore" fifteen years back? Finally, I don't understand your last paragraph. Please explain what exactly you mean. It can't be that the Wii doesn't sell core third-party software, as sales of titles like Resident Evil, Guitar Hero/Rock Band, Sonic, and many more imply otherwise, so I'm curious to understand what precisely you meant.

Sorry, I really can't take someone that strikes Fire Emblem from a list of great games serious as a gamer.
Please try again.
Now wait.... where is that thread on Metal Gear Solid.... you know the one where I questioned it not getting a million sales the first week... and there was 2 replies that I got to it.... one sensible.... where it really had a short week to work with... and the other one saying the sales were low because it was a Hardcore game??? I need to find that one but I don't have the time since right now.
Boycotting the following:
1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.
2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.
3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.
4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games. If that were the case they'd own a PS3.
5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.
6. Boycotts: Their so lame.
1 Super Mario Galaxy 97
2 Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, The 95
3 World of Goo 94
4 Super Smash Bros. Brawl 93
5 Rock Band 2 92
6 Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition 91
7 Okami 90
8 Metroid Prime 3: Corruption 90
9 Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure 87

View all Wii games by score
These are the top scoring 20 games on Wii according to Metacritic. 4 are guitar heros/rock band. Out of the 8 games to crack the 90% mark: 4 are Nintendo first party. 3(!) are Gamecube/PS2 ports. Leaving World of Goo the ONLY third party game not ported from last gen to score over 90.
You really, really don't have a problem with this? Fine. But don't bash on me for thinking the Wii can and should do better.
Metacritic is not a reliable metric of quality anyway. I don't really see your point.
