Agito was never a cellphone game, it was vapourware - and there's only PSP version now. Agito stands a good chance of outselling FFXIII and Versus in Japan (I think that's what RPG was implying) since it's a part of the main series (according to Square Enix) and Monster Hunter clone with numerous infrastructure and local co-op modes.

Also, it's on MUCH more popular machine in Japan.


But enough with derailing Soriku's thread, he doesn't deserve this.

Have you maybe seen the mobile version? It was about as real as GT4 Mobile.

I think that the main reason japan is buying more and more handheld games is because they've had enough of the ps2.

Agito was indeed announced for mobile phones but that was scrapped early on because the EU and NA were too backward tech wise for such a game. Then the PSP version came to be and one would think that was in production for a long time now as well as PE3.

Dont see why people care about what system the game was announced for, MH3 was originally for the PS3 but does that matter now? No, the game is coming on the Wii and the superior version some time later on the PSP.
