She says in one of the messages this will be your tomb or something like that. THere could be more halo games even a mmorpg but unless they go back in the storyline I doubt they will include chief.
@heruamon when has ms ever come up with anything original.

The ending on Legendary definitely leaves open the possiblity for another game.

The money issue was with the studios, not with Jackson.  Fox and Paramount (if I'm not mistaken) were the studios, and M$ wanted far too much of the profits for thei taste, but M$ positino was that they had already paid for all the developement stuff, and hte studio would jus build the sets and shoot the film...heck, they would even have the film's shell.  So, M$ can't actually do a MArvel, since M$ doesn't have studio know-how, but they CAN finance most of the film, and therefore stike a better deal with the studio on profits...maybe even 50/50 split, based on 50/50 financing of profit and cost.

i never said that it was peter jackson who wanted more money. you said that you wanted to see a movie trilogy by jackson. and so i was just saying that he was going to make it.

No they didn't, MS purchased Bungie 16 months before Halo and Xbox 1 were released.

I wouldn't mind a follow up to Halo 3. I want to see the story expand somewhere else.

Halo RPG, made like Fallout 3 would be awesom. Would be a definate buy for me.
Halo 4 would probably suck if it wasnt Bungie making it.
A Halo racer would be like, blasphemy.

Plus... aint Petr Jackson busy at work on "The Hobbit" movie?

well microsoft now has the halo studio(spawnpoint). with alot of them coming straight from bungie. also ryan sharpton(majo player from kojima games) and the two best developers from gearbox. all there game sare going to be awesome!!

I think Guillermo del Toro is directing The Hobbit. Jackson may be producing but I do not know. Not sure if Jackson is in the middle of directing anything right now or not.

Yeah hes doing production and screenplay. And i really cant wait for that film
