The money issue was with the studios, not with Jackson.  Fox and Paramount (if I'm not mistaken) were the studios, and M$ wanted far too much of the profits for thei taste, but M$ positino was that they had already paid for all the developement stuff, and hte studio would jus build the sets and shoot the film...heck, they would even have the film's shell.  So, M$ can't actually do a MArvel, since M$ doesn't have studio know-how, but they CAN finance most of the film, and therefore stike a better deal with the studio on profits...maybe even 50/50 split, based on 50/50 financing of profit and cost.

i never said that it was peter jackson who wanted more money. you said that you wanted to see a movie trilogy by jackson. and so i was just saying that he was going to make it.
