I think on this website somewhere i read 70% of the sales come at $199 price tag.. so now MS has made XBOX 360 for 129. which was the price of PS2. The last generation console, just a day ago.

So MS has pushed basic XBOX360, the HD console to a price of $129. i sure believe that it will push some insance numbers this year.. but doesn't this may send a wrong signals to developers that they are about to have a shorter life of XBOX as MS might not have an answer to PS3s sale when it gets a price cut.

I mean $129 is too crazy and might be an unrequired for price point. MS need games announcements and other features.. i think going for $129 is showing desperation, which i wander why they are showing when the sales are fine..

I m just afraid that they have shot themselves in the foot..

The only way I would consider it desperation is if it actually dropped to $99. Then there would be massive worries going around to all the xbox fans. :/
