If Microsoft doesn't get any more JRPGs or any other Japan oriented games, it looks like its run of selling even over 5K is over.

which is bad for sony too , ps360 is now one console in the eyes of the developers

In Japan the marketshare disparity is a lot larger than the rest of the world.  The 360 just doesn't matter there, and never will, at this rate.

As far as most JRPG makers are concerned, there are 2 consoles, not 3, unless MS foots some of the bill.

I can't believe how well is Mario & Luigi doing

Is that a new Gundam game??? I'm just curious... I see the word Gundam listed all the time on these things now...

4 ≈ One

So what is on the horizon for the 360 in Japan? Anything notable?

At least with the Wii we know big stuff is on the horizon (distant as it may be) with DQX and the new Tales game. Then you have some other games closer to release that should have a decent effect with ARF, Oboro Muramasa, Kizuna and Monster Hunter G.

Halo 3: ODST, Gears of War 2, and Ninety-Nine Nights II should all push 360 hardware upwards to 10k for their respective release weeks, but other than that 360 looks to be completely dead in Japan.

Microsoft better announce something soon.

Well, tri-Ace are announcing an RPG for 360 and PS3 next week, don't know how far off that is though.

So Disgaea 2 Portable sold 28,000 the first day and 35k the whole week?

I think Famitsu haven't included the Limited Edition, amirite?

fixed.
