Thats what you would like poor boy ,thats what you would like .But ,just to correct you ,I havent said it will sell few copies ...the 250K-300K number I said was the minimum possible and I said it would do good numbers so calm down the fanboy inside of you .

Even MP8 managed 280k sales in the first week in Japan and is going to sell over 3 million WW.

Anyone have an ETA on when first day sales will arrive?  It is now Friday in Japan after all...

700k is fine, they probably wont sell it all, but 200 - 300k is fair as his opinion I just don't think he'll back himself up when it is wrong because it's true.

I just think he's wrong and I will be willing to say i'm wrong if i'm wrong but diomedes wouldn't and doesn't but he's wrong all the time.

'Minimum Possible' and 'at least sell some ### for the first week' are not the same thing.  One has much more emphasis.

If I said Halo 3 will sell minimum possible 1 copy with the scope of anything above that its the same thing...

Well, anecdotal reports anyways .. very curious about sales now

I'm not predicting anything huge for this game in first day or even first week sales. I'm thinking something like 550-650K week 1, and around 10 million lifetime worldwide. Sounds like a lot, but look at NSMB.

Also, does anyone have a link to the sources that say it had a poor first day? It's not that I don't believe it, but I have been hearing it many times without a direct source and I like to have sources.

I know the game isn't a flop but it's almost like Nintendo did NO advertising for this game in Japan. OR here for that matter. This won't have any influence on me 'cause I'm gonna buy the game regardless but it would be nice to see some frenzy for this most excellent game because it deserves it.

Last year people were in lines for DS & Wii like crazy. In line for one game or two. Either the police is involved in curbing this back or something 'cause SMG IS da FRENZY! I'm literally counting down the days and getting all of my old play done before I lose myself in the Galaxy for the rest of the year.

Kotaku's usually on top of this kind of thing and they're not saying nothing!

I have a feeling they are saving the marketing for Wii Fit. Wii Fit opens up a completely new market for them.

Look at all the time they've been spending in the major speeches on Wii Fit. It's the product that could open up all kinds of doors for them.
