I am disappointed that Capcom just used the RE4 engine to port a game.

I look at GTA:Chinatown wars, it looks amazing because it was made for the system.

 

I personally would've have wanted a top-down/isometric game with a shit ton of simple zombies with a tactical element, of controlling the group of survivors through different parts of the mall.  It would combine multi-character puzzles with squad combat and would allow for co-op.  Maybe throw in a zombie mode.

I think you're still missing the point. The Wii is not technically capable of doing that. It's able to do other things though.

The idea of killing hundreds of zombies is cool, and I think there are other fun ways to do that.

Never played the 360 game but heard it was good so more like it. It really shows that they did not put any effort in the game. But your idea sounds cool and fun.

i really don't see how they could have made it more appealing if they did the overhead thing you said(which sounds fun by the way) people would complain about that so i think that the shouldn't have ported it maybe they should have ported resident evil 1 or 2 and make it look like 4 but overall i you want to now what i think it should have been on the wii is a on the rail game that would off been cool if they did it right

But that would require effort.  Silly boy with your silly dreams of ""using the systems strengths to an advantage"" oh ho ho ho. 

 

That idea is awesome though, I used the pointer to command civilians to build barracades or for other stuff also.
