After playing resident evil 5, don't feeel bad Wii fans you already have the better game on your system.

Hope Capcom doesn't port this garbage over.

Garbage?

Please.... Don't give me that bullshit. If it were coming to the Wii, you all would be talking all kinds of crap about how the Wii is getting a mature/hardcore game and it's new begining for the Wii blah blah blah.

Nope, game sucks.  Don't want it on the Wii.  Rather play Madworld or back to the Resident Evil 4.

It is pretty simple, the Wii sucks technologically. It has no chance of playing any game made for the PS3/PC/360 and so they would have to develop it again, from scratch, with lower resolution textures, less zombies on the screen and less ambitious levels.

Please, I played through the game, it was pretty much resident Evil 4.5 with better graphics.  Right down to the aniamtion it was literally an up port of a gamecube.  Except less fun.

Given that RE4 was pretty universally acclaimed as one of the best games of last generation (and one of the tiny handful of games worth owning on the Gamecube) that is pretty high praise.

It was fun, there were huge numbers of enemies on the screen at a time, the team dynamic was fun (as was the online component), the bosses were impressive and everything except the 10 quick time events at the end was all pretty golden.  Saying "I don't want this anyway" smacks of sour grapes.

Wow… haha when I say “the same way” as the PS360 it is clear that I mean each person holding a controller the way you do on a PS360….

Why am I explaining this? It is really simple I hold a Wii mote and attach a nun-chuck and you get your own Wii mote and nun-chuck

I guess some people don’t want to think a bit for them selves :P

Maybe, just maybe I actually own and played the game on the 360.

Trust me Wii owners, go back to Four and stay away from this dissapointment.  Four years later to make a shitter game.

The sad thing is that people choose graphics over gameplay.ashame

That is so not true, a ton of HD games have both and the vast majority of Wii games have neither.  You can name 10 good Wii games sure (pretty much all made by Nintendo with 3 or 4 exceptions) but there are dozens of exceptional HD games this gen with both beauty and brains.

This idea that the Wii has a monopoly on good gameplay is just assenine, so many games on the Wii are shovelware that you need industrial equipment to dig through to anything good.

Yeah its not like people have a choice of buying them or not, just like the PS2's lifetime.

A lot of people buy the shovelware because a big part of the Wii owners are the exact people Nintendo was catering to last E3.  It's casual gamers who bougth the console on a whim and buy things like "The Biggest Loser: The Game" on name recognition since they wouldn't know a good game if it smacked them in the face.  Yes there are probably 10-20 million Wii owners who really do like games, but there are a ton who have it and just buy crap because they have never bought a game system before.

This also seems to be the market that Nintendo wants more then any other (which is why they devoted so much time at E3 to talking about how you can get recipes in the kitchen on the DS and how housewives are buying it because they saw it on daytime TV).  How were all the great core titles on the Wii at the end of the year last year when 360 and PS3 owners had so many games that were awesome they couldn't afford them all?  Oh thats right, with the Wii instead of making GTA Rockstar is cashing in on the Carinval Games series and instead of making high quality games Capcom is turning them old games into on rails shooters and giving them new names.

If the Wii wants more development of quality Wii games they need to make the Wii a more hospitable system for the kinds of consumers who buy high quality games, as it stands the good Wii games seem to get left in the dustbin unless they say "made by Nintendo" on them.   How is the game people above keep bragging about, Madworld, doing on the Wii?  less then 100k sales?  How is "My Fitness Coach" doing?  Closing in on a million?

Wonder why people only make crap games for Wii with those kinds of numbers...

Easy: Capcom doesn't want gamers to see just how little there is to these games once the shiny HD graphics are stripped out. Nothing these games do is demanding enough that the Wii couldn't handle it (outside of graphics, of course), but a lot of marketing goes into making people believe that they're not just playing a glorified reskin of a game they played 10 years ago, and a Wii iteration would come uncomfortably close to proving it.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

ow becoming arrogant again, bad idea

When has Reggie ever ceased being arrogant?

Was he with the company before the Wii?

Considering NoA's power in relation to NoJ if he wasn't cocky he'd never be in the news.

I'm convinced everyone in NoA spend most of their workday playing minsesweeper.

Oh yes and HD development is all profits and rainbows right?  Its not companys have gone belly up right?

Or third partys pushing the majority of there development towards HD games before the actual systems came out because they were so reassured that the HD systems were going to win.  (spoilers, they didn't.)

Nintendo made an affordable system for third partys, with a less financial risk of developing games for the system.

Third partys didn't bring there best, because we all know they didn't, leaving Nintendo to pretty much clean house.

So now you'v got third partys trying to release games that ride on Nintendo's success. There not trying, they sit back like the internet community and just go ""Wii is for casuals release crap on it""or litterally ""Copy Nintendo.""except they ignore Nintendo's other successes like smash bros or mario kart, but then they scap goat it and go ""But but but, we can't compete with Nintendo :( ""

So who's to blame?  Nintendo?  Nope because they don't flood the market like third partys.  Or hand there projects to lesser development teams, or simply out right refuse to work on the system.

Once again this wasn't a issue on the PS2, because everyone was happy the PS2 won.  But when Nintendo has shovelware, its a grave mortal sin also apparently only exist.

The PS2 had good and bad in 3rd party releases, and the cream actually rose (since the key PS2 customer was someone who actually liked gaming for gamings sake). The Wii has a handful of good games like Madworld, and that handful are shot down leaving only low budget crap to be made. It isn't entirely Nintendo's fault, but in choosing not to go to the low end of HD (and thus get easy ports of quality games on the other 2 consoles) and marketing solely to casuals they kind of brought this on themselves.

Ever see a Sony E3 where they spend 10 minutes talking about how housewives can use their product to get recipes and how they advertise on daytime talk shows for old women who sit at home? I think not.
