Just wait till PS3 drops $100 in the states, the sales should then be either equal to the 360 or in favour of PS3. Its the US where Sony need to make their biggest move imo... the 360 dominates it there atm.

I dont know exclusive numbers off the top of my head but i do know

Highest selling 360 game is Halo 3 at 10 mill.

Highest selling PS3 game is MGS4 at around 5 million.

Ahhh nevermind then.

BTW... MGS4 is almost at 4mil. But i wernt talking about game sales anyway lol.

360 has done what know one expected it to do this Generation. Rather convincingly outsell a console with the name Sony in it, while building the largest HD game library which includes.......wait for it.......THE MOST RPG's! Even after 3 years. Congrats!

PS3 has done what know one thought it could after its retarded launch price and poor lineup......wait for it........sell extremely well for it's high price-tag while building an increasingly impressive library of quality exclusive games. Congrats!

Wii has done what know one thought it could, completely obliterate the competition in sales and almost sell the total of both competing consoles combined. Very, very impressive.......Congrats!

What was ment was, when the cost of making PS3s reduce with the new chip that will be put to use... after a short while PS3 will get the pricedrop. Its inevitable + will make epic sales.

If SONY can sell the PS3 for $300 and still make a profit, I am sure MS can make a price cut to all their models and sell the arcade for $130-150

I would actually say the PS3 and 360 are selling relatively on par, at this time, with regards to revenue. I think it's kinda unrealistic to expect Corvettes to outsell Mustangs, don't you? Given the price difference, the PS3 is doing phenominally well.

The X360 Elite, packed with goodies and priced the same as the PS3, was canned recently for performing so miserably. The PS3 is still selling pretty well, considering that, rather than a HDD-less "Arcade" model, Sony has the PS2 to support the low-end. Go on... take those special glasses off, and have yourself a look at the whole picture.
