Dude, you should be banned and I'm talking about a permanent ban. Secondly what does Mario have to do with Final Fantasy? Is he in the game? Now that would be hot and would create some rather interesting gameplay features. Think about it? Having the different costumes like Bee Mario, Frog Mario, and others. Yeah, I know Mario is cartoony and Final Fantasy is all realistic but these costumes can look realistic also.

First of all, Ocarina of Time is not an RPG. It's an action/adventure.

Second of all, I don't think people play Super Mario for it's story line but rather for the gameplay.

Third of all, I could care less about FF. None of them have kept me interested in finishing the game. =/

Permanent ban for what? Am I wrong? Italian plumber saves blonde princess from evil dragon...what has changed storywise and cliche-wise? I used mario as the example because it's the most popular videogame series and for some reason, this topic was posted in the nintendo discussion.

Lol. Never ceases to amaze me how much Mario is hated... and for such trivial reasons to.

On the case of FF. I really dont care whether it ends or not. Doesn't make much sense to end it so abruptly since its so popular. Though i do see a lot of hatred for FFX and onwards... are they really that bad?

I don't hate Mario. however, there are lots of threads where people complain about cliches in gaming. Many cite cliches as the cause of the jRPG demise. for someone to call for FF's end where each game is a game of it's own leaves me confused. I just assumed the TC would like mario since this was posted in the nintendo discussion so I had to point out that mario sucessfully sells the same cliche's over and over again so anyone looking to end series shouldn't start with FF.

You know, when this is in the Nintendo section, it'll make you look like a fanboy wanting the 'good old times' back. Not to say that's how it is... But it certainly makes you look so.

oh sorry i was not aware it is because i was going to make a thread regarding the conduit but i saw that it was already there so i made it about this sorry, and well yeah i would like the good old times considering that i never lived them since i started playing with the N64 and my first FF was Crystal Chronicles so yes i will like good old times back to live them but well im not a fanboy just wanting to know your opinion. by the way is there any way to change it?

Now regarding my opinion well this is it:

Continue making FF but just the numbered saga and some spinoffs some times but stop the ports and remakes (well well some good remakes like FF3 should continue. and we should have FFV11.

PD: im not that of a fan of FF just loved to much FF3 REMAKE for ds.
