Not really topic related, but the appartment deal fell through and my bank and credit card statements came in today. Looks like I'll be playing it a little conservative for the next few weeks/months (hope no more than 2) until the house I'm being offered becomes available. I don't want to spend the money on the posh appartment for a few months when I know I have a house waiting. So by playing my dwelling a little conservative still I don't have to fully cut back on my "entertainment" expenditures. But it will make wooing the girl a little complicated. Ok very complicated.
I'll try to see her Wednesday, if she is working... I'll then be able to find out if she received and ignored the text message or didn't receive the message at all. I'll also break out the "your answer won't affect our professional relationship if you say no, so would you like to socialise outside the club" schtick that Starcraft suggested. Of course, that is a partial truth since if she sais yes, we'll socialize, I'll convert much of my spending on her to spending with her and if she says no, I'll start going a little less often.
Unfortunetly, I let my down feeling at the possibility that she just ignored the text message affect my work performance. Blah. I'll be back in the game tomorrow. It's funny how women can make you go from elated and hopeful to doubtful just by not responding to a message she may or may not have gotten.
I shouldn't be letting her affect me like this. But I get that way with all women, not just dancers, so don't judge me on that. :)
