I can't wait for free realms :).

Why does it sort of look like WoW btw? |
11 million subscriptions is why.
You cannot compare the two one is for PS3 the other for PC. There is so much difference.

They took something that actually could have been something really good and something that could have set the PS3 apart from everything else but instead made a dull lifeless world. I don't really trust SOE, at all, but Free Realms looks interesting at least. I don't know if it's really fair to compare Home to it since Home is supposed to be a social networking think and Free Realms is a casual MMO with social networking features. |
home isnt to bad now and has a bustling community on there ive met loads of buddies on home that i play muliplayer games with now so it does exactly what it says on the tin. free realms is a game which again is free to ps3 users.

Thing for a social networking advert space to work, is that it needs to drive sufficient amount of people into it to be worthwhile. Maybe Sony can launch Free Realms from within Home, and use Home as the hub for all its online gaming.
Xi is a wonderful new direction for Home. I actually go on occassionally for it now. It gives it a Myst like complexion. Puzzles work very well for Home.
Once Home starts adding what? (3 New spaces per month?). It will start to pick up drastically. By this time next year, we should have over 30+ new Home spaces with all different features and unique things.
Home itself is a boring framework. It's what is done within Home that is interesting. We'll see. It has potential, it's not there yet but Home Xi opens some different fun possibilities.
All games need to be capable of Home In Game Launching too. That would really make it useful.
but then again the spaces have to be worth while, guitar heroes space sucks.
