I'm surprised you don't have Secret of Mana. It's a pretty solid action RPG.
I should pick that up, never played it but I love RPGs, exspecially SNES JRPGs

WiiWare:
Toki Tori - a fun game with over 70 levels, very good cost/value ratio
Lost Winds - good platformer, but only about three hours long
Virtual Console:
Mega Man 2 and 3 (NES) - best games in the series
Super Metroid (SNES) - best game of all time
Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3 (SNES) - both better than the first game
Sin & Punishment (N64) - fantastic on rails shooter
Neutopia I and II (TG16) - good Zelda clones
Trust me, those games are worth it.
I have heard Lost Winds was good, and I don't mind short games as long as they are good. What exactly is Toki Tori, as in what do you do in it? I've been meaning to get MegaMan 2 because I remember it being much better than the first but is 3 good as well? I had Donkey Kong 1-3 on the SNES so i'll get those eventually by they are not my first priority. Been meaning to download Sin & Punishment, and Zelda clones!! I love it!

I LOVE spending other people money!
You seem to like SRPGs: get Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen IMMEDIATELY. Tons of content, very deep, unique, and overall fantastic. I can't recommend this game enough.
A good ARPG is Ys I+II. Also worth it, although less so than Ogre Battle. Ditto for Secret of Mana, although that one has the added advantage of allowing three players.
On the WiiWare front, look in bit.trip.beat and see if it's for you.
Ogre Battle is out? I am currently looking for it on the Download channel as I type with the other hand (it is accually quite difficult :)
Never played Ys 1 or 2 but if they're good RPGs then I'm all in.
Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.
One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.
