I distinctly recall tons of LBP and KZ2 threads when the games launched that they didn't do good, or 'below expectations', but when Madworld truly does good, it's all 'wait', and 'it's good for the genre'.  Then once you say something contrary you're a troll.

The hilarious part is if I was such a huge troll, wouldn't I have been banned/warned by now?  By the admin himself that called me a troll?  x_x.  The fact is people don't want to hear things, so they name-call.  Shame really. 

Anyway, Bod seems to sum up exactly what I've said/meant in his one post.  Go Bod!  :)

If you're so against bashing games like Haze, Lair or LBP(and you defended the sales of those games in those threads) why do you put so much effort into bashing sales of games like Madworld, because thats what you do DMeister (and ignore other users arguments) You do it just to feel better? or just to get back at some people?

I might get flamed but I'm with DMeisterJ on this one.

Usually good games on PS3 and 360 as of late sell good if they are good. Wii sales are very hit and miss. Most titles that sell over millions really are not that great. Yeah I know you guys will go against me and defend them but Gameranking and Metacrictic can only be so wrong.

Please though don't flame cause this is what I see. I mean the only people I know who have or want a Wii are my mom, my gf, my gf's mother, my grandma, my aunt and my (openly :P) Metrosexual Uncle (He wants it cause it is cute, white, and fun size as he calls it). It is a joke amoungst most guys I know and all my girl friends think it is just so cute and cool. Funny thing is every guy friend I have has a game system and is either a 360/PS3 or PS2.

You guys will try to prove me wrong and I would like to be proven wrong. So far in my actual life vs. internet, real life is winning so far. I don't live in a small town I live in Chicago. All I see in stores is kids/women/40+ buying Wii and DS games. As I said though some of you will try to flame me but I'm not going to lie and act like the Wii is for gamers. It has gamer games but it was not made for the gamers.

You Wii fanboys should be happy with the poor sales of madworld. You guys are always their to complain how the games library of the Xbox 360 and the PS3 are full with games full with blood, extreme violent, brainless killing etc now you show the developpers with the sales of madworld that you don't belong to that group and prefer games as *insert random Wii game name*.

Huge jump from "Guitar Hero III". Does any one know why this may have happened ? It's quite surprising to see this game still selling so well despite the presence of its successor "Guitar Hero: World Tour".

I don't think you are right. Games that sell a lot on PS3 and Xbox360 are standardized game with a big budget and a big mass appeal like fps or sport games. They are not hardcore games, they are for a very wide public, quite standardized.

An hardcore game like Madworld would have struggled on PS3 and 360 since it's not of these big budget standardized games. Like God Hand did on PS2. Madworld is too hardcore to sell in mass.

And I don't agree with you.

MGS4 is hardcore, just as GT5P/Forza 2, DMC4, Mass Effect, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, Street Fighter 4 etc.
