At GDC, Iwata said there were 75 games on Wii which had shipped one million units.
Hence the changes.
Over 312m Wii games had been shipped worldwide through December 2008, and 169m of those games went to stores in the Americas.
Per Nintendo's forecast for the year ending March 2009, in which 193m Wii games will ship, ~58m Wii games were shipped worldwide in January to March 2009.
If you figure Nintendo had data for 10/13 weeks in January to March, and that the software shipments performed as expected, then at GDC your talking 75 games to ship 1 million units on (10/13)*(58m) + 312m...or about ~355m Wii games shipped worldwide.
Wii Sports isn't included in their game software totals for Nintendo, but the 46 games which are million sellers on the site still total about ~45% of the Wii software total.
