The old playstation games have held up well in the HD era, the jaggedness of the textures are a stark reminder of what we had as graphics back in the day. However that doesn't mean the quality hasn't held up. I can think of plenty of games I would love to see rereleased on an HD console if possible/

xenogears -(maybe they could actually speed up the begining and fix the second disk as well)

Silent Hill- (impressive graphics for its time not so much anymore, Increeeedibly creepy even still I would imagine, could use better voice acting and plot clarification)

Metal Gear Solid- (nothing wrong with this game at all, just cant find twin snakes. *SPOILER ALERT* I pretty much spent chapter 4 in MGS4 with the young snake camo on. nostalgia for the win)

I think there are too many bad remakes. One of the worst I`ve played was Metal Gear Solid 1 for Gamecube.

Age of Empires II in a 3D grafix engine.

Start making remakes of bad games: gta iv, gears... ok I`ll stop. (even though I think it is bad games)

I never got a chance to play twin snakes but I haven't heard anything wrong with it aside lower quality voice acting. I know there is the potential to destroy games with remakes but this thread is mostly idealized hope based. That being said I was pissed when there was talk of a remake of silent hill with Harry being substituted for the woman from the movie.

The Legend of Zelda OOT with Twilight Princess graphics. or at least on the DS

Spartan Total Warrior one the best hack and slash games of last gen just the graphics were an eye sore at times.
