Silent Hill 1 - This game is just awesome, all it needs is PS3's graphics and Im sold.
MGS1 - same as above, just dont redo the voices like in twin snakes.
Rollcage - I personally think it should be like WipEout HD, Rollcage HD, the game was underrated IMO, very awesome massive wheels and driving upside down lol

Well, the voice acting was a BIG part of the game for me. That really made the game. And the cutscenes in twin snakes was not directed very well. Trying to remake a game that`s already close perfect always ends in failure. I agree with the silent hill substitution. That would`ve been horrible. But do you think they should remove the fog in a Silent Hill remake?

Of course not. I understand that it was to cover up the poor draw distance in the playstation 1 but it added so much more. The feeling of unease that came from the sound of the radio gave me chills. Removing the fog would be like removing part of the games soul, or maybe those creepy baby things with knives. So much of the atmosphere and narrative was great in that game. It's a shame that most games don't come close. (Some do but not many)

Yes agree. I had a great time with the game. I just forgot how great it was. One more "Great narrative" game of the PS1 era. But a remake? I`d rather not. Make another game. And this time don`t leave it to us developers, because the last Silent Hill game was horrible.

I have kinda put off playing Silent Hill 5 since it is not made by team silent but then again I never really had high hopes. If a remake were to be made it would have to have to be a complete update not an adaptation. it could easily be be made worse by reinterpretation (if the movie is any evidence, oh god). part of this thread assumes that you would want it remade something to the effect of what you would want for it.

"North&South" for the Nes & Amiga (among other systems)
I would like to see a Wii version or play North&South against others on Xbox Live. That'd be pure win! :D
