Hah, I won't be having any exams until... Fall 2010? That said, I'll be off the latter half of this year for different reasons.

I'd be willing to guess they have something decent this time... Why else would they want to be the last? Well, unless they're really trying to make people get hyped for their conference instead of whatever MS announces... Doesn't sound like a good plan to me.

Worked for me last year O.o the ff13 announcement got me down but after looking at the Sony conference I was more upbeat.

You can view being last as a good thing... because they can have a plan A and a plan B depending on what is announced at the previous conferences.

Microsoft anounces something big.... Sony announces a price cut, or if MS don't announce anything unexpectedly huge Sony can ignore it.

Isn't that basically what they did for the PS1 versus the Saturn? Sony seemedly on the spot decided to launch the PS1 at $299 instead of the $399 it had launched at in Japan, this basically fucked up Sega's plans, in fact if Sony hadn't immediatly dropped the Japanese price I think it would have been classed as illegal or something.

Sony is going last so that once they make their announcements nobody will remember what happened at the other two. 

Come on, how can anyone doubt this? Look at how they have been spoiling us so far this year. As one member on this forum said "Sony stop falcon punching my wallet".

They will help people to forget FFVXIII going multiplatform. <---- Yes I see this as being part of the MS announcements.

Nintendo I totally agree. I was bored and repulsed out of my mind when watching the Nin Conference last year. Wii Music? Really?

But I seriously cannot see how MS "Won" by any standard. The highlight of their entire conference was they got a very well know Exclusive of the PS3's to go MP. On the other side Sony revealed quite a few exclusives with (Mag,GOWIII, etc) that we did not previously know about. Even their Keynote which is usually this long boring speach was more interesting(and understandable) seeing as they used LBP as a Display medium.

This Year Sony all but has it in the bag.

Anyways, if FFVXIII go multi platform, I think that MS takes it regardless of what Sony does. Only way would be a $100 price cut, Gears of War 3 going multi plat (haha), Mass Effect 2 going multi plat, and GOW III releasing this year. The reason why I say this is not because FFVXIII is THAT big of a game (although IMO it is) or will be a system seller, it's because it'd be ANOTHER lost PS3 exclusive. Fanboys wont EVER shut up.
